Your healing is near. Just as Jesus was nailed to the cross and shed His blood for the forgiveness of your sins; He also took 39 stripes (beaten with a whip) on His body to take your sickness and disease.
Matthew 8:16-17 NKJV
“When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sickness.”
The same as Jesus took our sin upon Himself; He also took our sickness and disease upon Himself. Sickness and disease, like sin, is a result of the curse. God never intended for us to be sick even one day in our life. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden a curse came upon the Earth. The result: sin, sickness, disease, poverty and death. The good news is Jesus broke the curse off of us when He died on the cross.
Galatians 3:13 NKJV
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),
We now have the power through the name of Jesus to resist sickness and disease. To be totally healed. As a Born Again believer in Christ we are redeemed from the curse of sickness and disease and all other curses. (If you are not born again see “How to Know Jesus” page) The day we call upon the Name of the Lord we are saved. The word saved in the Bible’s original Greek language means: your sins forgiven, your name written in heaven, healed in your body, set free from tormenting spirits and addictions and every promise Jesus made in the New Testament now belongs to you. Nothing missing, nothing broken!
Does Jesus heal everyone? Matthew 12:15 NKJV
“But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.”
Jesus healed everyone who came to Him. And He was not limited in the kinds of sicknesses and diseases He healed?
Matthew 4:23-24 NKJV
“And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.”
Determine in your heart God is going to heal you. Watch how this lady was single minded as she sought to be healed.
Matthew 9:20-22 NKJV
“And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter, your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.”
Jesus commended her faith, because it was her faith that connected her to the healing power of God. She believed that Jesus is the Healer and that by coming to Him she would be healed. Notice how she said in her heart that when she touched Jesus she would be healed. That is the kind of determination that gets results. Settle in your heart God is going to heal you as you pray to Him.
Jesus healed everyone of everything. And He is still healing today. If you need healing in your body, pray the prayer of faith to Him. Place your hand where you need healing and pray this prayer out loud from your heart:
“Father, I know Your Son Jesus not only died for my sins on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day, but He was beaten with 39 stripes to heal me from sickness and disease and other infirmities. Today I ask you to totally heal me of ________ because Jesus has redeemed me from the curse of the law. I am no longer under the curse as a Born Again Christian. Thank you God for Your healing power that is touching my body this very moment. I am now healed by the stripes of Jesus. In Jesus name, Amen
